about the project
The National Horse Fair, popularly known as the “Feira da Golegã”, is one of the most emblematic events in Portugal related to the equestrian world. Golegã, a small village located in Ribatejo, is the epicenter of this annual celebration that brings together horse enthusiasts, breeders, athletes and lovers of culture and traditions linked to the equine universe.

In addition to an attractive website that would encourage people to join the Golegã Fair, it was also necessary to develop a backend platform where the customer could manage entries, horses, payments and everything else.

Until 2022 all the registration and information about the fair was doing by hand. Every horse rider that wanted to joined need to field a huge paper form.
With this platform, we simply and turn the process a lot easier, for the horse rider and for all the staff that take care of all the paper work.
This platform includes a place to manage information about several events, inscription of horses and horse riders, payment methods and regulation for each event.
The horse rides can easily manage their profile and update all the information quickly.
Design
All the design was made thinking in all the people who are going to spend hours reviewing the applications, so it needed to be very clean and intuitive to read and use.

Doing this website was like full feeling a dream, you see… I belong to this world since I was a child.
So with this opportunity I could use all of my knowledge about the Horse World and put it into practice a long side with my design skills to make a website wordy of this fair.
